For over a week now I’ve been quite sick. Little did I know it would continue this far. I’m still not 100% sure what I’ve got, but it’s a skin and maybe ear infection gone awry.
Last Thursday: 30 minutes moving boxes
During a positive moment when just starting to feel strange, I sought out to fix something at my storage locker. One of my shelves was crooked, so I took everything off including some very heavy boxes, fixed the shelf bracket, and packed it all up again. That was about 30 minutes of quick and intense activity.
It was my vacation day and I was supposed to be doing sports anyway.
A week ago Friday: 15 minutes walking
Friday was a work day, and after work I went walking in the rain to get takeout food, 15 minutes total. It was the best I could do, not feeling 100%.
Saturday: 30 minutes yard work
For whatever reason, after a slow start to the day, I had lots of energy so I moved branches and yard debris into a pile. The goal was to make more room for my obstacle course and Ninjaline. But I wasn’t feeling well, and again did the best I could for the sake of exercise.

Sunday: sick
I was pretty sick and ended up in the hospital. Since I have had three different diagnoses and three different medications. I’m getting a little tired of the mystery.

Since Sunday
I’ve continually been sick and done very little activity. I’ve gotten a lot of rest and some things have healed. But not everything. My appetite is gone and I have strange symptoms. I’ll spare the details about that for you. As the course of medication, and problems start to clear up, the proper diagnosis might become more evident.
I’ve got a little strength here and there, but I’m using it for making snacks and washing dishes. And making phone calls to keep in touch with friends and family.
Sorry for the vague details. I must keep this week’s thoughts very short. I added a few photos of the Ninjaline at least – working on my backyard trail was the high point of the past week’s activities!
