Yes, I’ve been quiet lately on my blog, but still exercising regularly

Simply busy in May

I’ve been sore! I do stretches every day that is gradually increasing range of motion of my right hip and quads.

Meanwhile, I’m updating my website to share a goal I have, to host creativity groups and other mindful topics using Zoom. I’m a little afraid of hosting people on Zoom, so I finally got the courage to start crafting my agenda (minimal) and purchase a booking tool (already chosen now).

My planning for a social gathering on Zoom has taken away my blogging time. Plus I have a busy weekend coming.

Exercising whenever possible

I’m still exercising too! The past two days got a full hour of gardening and moving soil each day. I’ve been testing routes for paths in the wild backyard of my family home (the home I grew up in and enjoy visiting.)

I definitely reached 150 minutes of exercise each week for the past few weeks. When I’ve been too busy to ride my new mountain bike, I end up riding an exercise bike in the evening so I still burn lots of carbs. I seem to enjoy it either way, so I’m going to not pressure myself to “have to” ride the new bike at every chance.

Meanwhile, I always set a goal for each week and day, and right now the thing to finish is a new, updated web page with details of a social colouring group on Zoom that I want to offer soon, in late May or very early June.

Week-ending thoughts

There’s lots to think about nearing the end of this week. The toy fair is coming to town again this weekend – a major family event – and I have an editing class on Monday, so I’ve still got to make time for Zoom to do some colouring and light socializing together.
